8月26日（土）・27日（日）に中国 上海国際音楽村にて開催される「SUMMER SONIC SHANGHAI 2017」に追加出演アーティストが発表されました。今回発表されたのは、INABA／SALAS。
なお、INABA／SALASは8月19日（土）・20日（日）に千葉・ZOZOマリンスタジアム＆幕張メッセと大阪・舞洲SONIC PARK（舞洲スポーツアイランド）にて行われる、日本の本家サマーソニックにも出演予定です。

1、2回行ったことあります。覚えてるのは、B’zさんが初めて出たとき。1曲目で新曲やって、すげぇ攻めてるなと思いました。
ーーー今年のサマーソニックで観たいアーティストはいますか？
YORKE.
僕は初めて仕事したのがB’zさんですから、INABA/SALASとこういう形で対バンするというのは、すごく時間を越えて、今ここにいる自分の意味とか、Ta_2と今組んで同じフェスでステージに立てるのはすごく喜びもあるんですけど、やっぱり肩張って、一緒に出る以上、稲葉さんの顔に泥塗れないしなという思いもある。だから人生賭けて上がる舞台だと感じてます。

Flying out Sunday to get back into some of this madness. Looking forward to being back in Japan for some big festivals and really looking forward to playing in Shanghai China since I have never been there.... #INABASALAS back at it in full effect!! Rehearsals start on the top of this week for the band BUT with me flying in from Austin, Stuart Zender flying in from London, Matt Sherrod flying in from Nashville and Amp Fiddler flying in from Detroit Jet lag may also be in full effect!!

Spoke to all the boys in this band today and it is confirmed that we will indeed be back together and ready to rock this August. We released the Inaba Salas cd in japan in late Jan this year and after 15 sold out concerts the record was certified Gold a couple months back. Koshi and I worked up a set list this morning while he was home in Japan and I was home in Austin and I started working on the songs right after...I must be getting old cuz I really gotta focus on remembering the details of the songs even though I wrote them!! I checked in with
Amp Fiddler and Stuart Zender who played Glastonbury this weekend and Matt Sherrod who just returned from Australia too ( he got home to Nashville as I was arriving in Australia). Yes we are a global band but when we get together we do the tighten up just like Archie Bell and The Drells!
We will play to a couple hundred thousand plus people this August so maybe after that the Chubby Groove cd will go Platinum !! One can only dream.

8月19日(土)、20日(日)に東京・大阪にて開催されるサマソニ（SUMMER SONIC 2017）の第11弾アーティスト発表で、稲葉浩志とスティーヴィー・サラスによるユニット、INABA／SALAS の出演が決定した。
INABA／SALAS は8月19日(土)大阪 OCEAN STAGE、8月20日(日)東京 MARIN STAGE に登場。INABA／SALAS のステージが夏フェスで見られるのは、サマソニの2公演のみとなる。
6月12日(月)には、MOUNTAIN、SONIC、RAINBOW、BEACH、GARDEN、ISLAND 各ステージの更なる追加アクトが発表される予定。
