【INABA／SALAS】
稲葉浩志(B’z)とStevie Salasのバンド。稲葉浩志がアメリカの人気ギタリストと組むのはこれで何度目だろうか。Stevie Salasも数多くの人気アーティストと携わっている。そんな日米屈指の実力者によるバンドがサマソニに降臨。音楽性はB’zと大差のないロックだがキーボードの主張が強く、それがまた印象的だった。それにしても稲葉浩志の歌は完璧すぎる。口パクではないかと少し疑ってしまうぐらい。スタイルも凄く良いし、動きもアクティブ。これで50代とは。浜田麻里、Steven Tyler(AEROSMITH)、Bruce Dickinson(IRON MAIDEN)で老い知らずヴォーカリスト四天王と称したくなった。

日差しが照りつける13:00台にMARINE STAGEに現れたINABA / SALASは、1曲目「SAYONARA RIVER」から堂々としたパフォーマンスを見せつけていく。続く「苦悩の果てのそれも答えのひとつ」では稲葉浩志がそれまでかけていたサングラスを外してオーディエンスとコール＆レスポンスで盛り上がり、「WABISABI」ではスティーヴィー・サラスが速弾きを披露して大歓声を浴びていた。
