In the studio in Tokyo writing new songs. It's a creative time for me and I'm happy cuz I haven't felt creative in a long time. Our engineer Hiro and our programmer T don't speak English very well so there are challenges but the music is sounding amazing just the same.
We will work out the songs here for another 8 days or so then I will go to Nashville and LA to a couple other studios to re program this stuff with some bigtime killers like Matt Sherrod from Beck and maybe DeadMau5 or his crew ( I'm figuring that out as we go) then we will meet at a studio in Hawaii end of July and knock out some more before heading back to Tokyo for more vocals mid August This is gonna be a LOOONG process.
This is how we all use to make records back in the days of major labels... going to the best studios and working with the best people.
Lucky that the guy I'm writing and producing with has sold 100 million records...Its a lot of pressure to deliver but that pressure to push the envelope is what I live for.
